Take a look at some photos of our recent renovation projects

‘The George’ Apartment Main Beach

“The transformation of this over 30-year-old, full floor high-rise apartment in Main Beach was an awesome project to be a part of. Commissioned by its Sydney owners and designed by Sydney based Architect Olivia Moore, the end results are spectacular.

This renovation entailed stripping the apartment completely back to concrete, including removing all the old windows and sliding doors.
Modifying the floorplan with the re-positioning of the bedroom’s, bathrooms, laundry and kitchen. The hallway was relocated from the core to the outside of the building to produce better views, light and ventilation.

The new windows are all double hung and the 4 curved segmented windows on each corner of the building were replaced with full panel curved glass. The stacking slider disappears into a pocket wall creating a beautiful open space between the balcony and living area.

Other notable features include the terrazzo flooring throughout, a floating kitchen, curved walls, timber cabinetry and stone tops, recessed ceiling and floor lights and a 15-metre feature wall wrapping its way around the centre of the unit”

‘The Mustique’ Penthouse Surfers Paradise

“The transformation of this over 30-year-old, 3 level penthouse in Surfers Paradise was a challenging but rewarding project to work on. Commissioned by its Gold Coast owner and designed by Gold Coast based Architect Jamie Gordan from GGI Architects, the end results are awesome.

This renovation involved partially demolishing the penthouse areas which were wasted spaces and re-configuring the layouts. Replacing the outdated air conditioning system, balustrades on the stairs and mezzanine level and erecting a new roof over the upper-level balcony area.

The new roof area covers the balcony allowing for year-round use protecting its occupants from the weather, with three vergolas built in sunlight can be let in when required in cooler months. A great place to watch the Super Cars or have a BBQ.

Other notable features include the Tasmanian oak flooring throughout, a feature wall and ceiling, floor to ceiling balustrades, a wine room, internal glass sliding doors which opens the master bedroom out into the mezzanine space and an auto door that allows pets to wander out onto the balcony when they want take in the views”
